Dribble Deck (Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
[This is a public demo for Dribble Deck which is in development]
Dribble Deck is a basketball deck-building roguelike. You play as an up-and-coming coach, dead set on winning the league.
Pick your team
Choose from a roster of teams. Will you pick the best team for safety or take your chance with the underdogs?
Build your deck
Start with a basic set of cards and add new ones by acquiring packs and trading cards with NPC's along the way. Boost your scoring, set up assists, improve positioning — or disrupt your opponent's defense.
Play matches
Each match is a four-quarter battle where you play cards to influence the outcome and use tactics that work to your advantage. Manage your energy, target specific defenders, and make every card count.
Navigate the season
Progress through a procedurally generated map across nine chapters, picking your path through opponents, upgrades and events such as a freethrow minigame as you traverse the season.
Collect items
Find items along the way that give your team permanent boosts and effects for the rest of the run. The items are bound to your players so you have to be careful they don't miss out on important matches.
Pulling through
Since the team is paying you the big bucks they have high expectations for you. Luckily for you the teams owner has your back.
Trophy room
A respectable coach as yourself has to have a trophy room where the story of your past acclamations is told.
