How the game works:
You shoot a basketball into a hoop using a pull and release mechanic. You have a total of twelve balls to make the same number of shots. You get points if the ball goes into the hoop but additionally you get points for bouncing on walls and for not touching the rim or the backboard. If you miss the shot, no points whatsoever are rewarded for that particular shot.

Before each shot you are given a choice of picking one of three random boosters that can affect scoring modifiers or how the game behaves. For example making the ball smaller or adding a trajectory to the shot so you can see how the ball will fly upon release. Alternatively you can choose to select no booster and instead upgrade a current booster that you feel aligns with your scoring strategy.

When will it be out?
The game is currently in development and I hope to finish it early in 2025. At the moment I'm doing the game design, artwork and development in Unity in my free time when I'm not busy with my day job and a family of five.

Current downloadable prototype
The runnable build attached isn't completely bug free and is just meant as a mean to be able to run through the game and get a basic feel of the shooting mechanic and how the boosters will affect scoring.

Some notes and known bugs on the current downloadable prototype:
- Press space at any time during the ball shooting phase to end that round
- Press and hold B during the ball shooting phase to display the current scoring modifiers
- In this build you can actually drag and release multiple times, shooting the ball from where it is repeatedly. This is not how the game was intended to be played but I have thought about making that into it's own game mode which would likely be more timer based.
- The current build is for Windows although I am developing it on a Mac. If there is interest in Mac builds I can of course make that too but I imagine there are a lot more Windows users who might be interested in the game.
